On November 2, 2018, the first general meeting and inaugural meeting of the Chamber of Commerce of Jiangsu Province for Science and Technology Equipment Industry was held in Nanjing, with Gu Wanfeng, Secretary of the Party Group of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, Ding Rongyu, member of the Party Group and Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and other leaders attending the meeting. As a representative of outstanding enterprises with high technological content and deep military participation and one of the main initiators of the Chamber, Wang Xiaozhong, Chairman of Dongling Company, attended the meeting.
The meeting read out "on the approval of the establishment of Jiangsu Province, the Chamber of Commerce in science and technology equipment", considered and adopted the Chamber's constitution and related management methods, elected the first president of the Chamber of Commerce in Jiangsu Province, the executive chairman, vice president, supervisors, etc., Dongling Chairman Wang Xiaozhong was elected as a supervisor of the Chamber of Commerce in Jiangsu Province, science and technology equipment. At the meeting, the leaders unveiled a plaque for the Chamber of Commerce of Jiangsu Province Science and Technology Equipment Industry, and awarded the plaque to the president, executive president, vice president and supervisors of the Chamber respectively.
The establishment of Jiangsu Science and Technology Equipment Industry Chamber of Commerce is a pragmatic move to respond to the national military-civilian integration development strategy and to help Jiangsu's military-civilian synergy development, which has a positive role in promoting the development of the military-civilian integration industry in Jiangsu Province. As the first supervisory unit, Dongling will actively perform the duties and responsibilities of the Chamber's Supervisory Board and work together with its members to promote the high-quality development of Jiangsu's military-civilian integration industry.
